This week, one we’ve all been waiting for: Get Millie Black. Billed as an ex-Scotland Yard detective returning to Kingston, Jamaica, who comes across a missing person case that will rock the very foundation of her entire life. The HBO Original Limited Series premieres 25 November on @StreamOnMax/Channel 4.
That’s not all. Nothing says cozy night in like an Irish crime drama. This one looks very promising, taking us to County Donegal where a mystery begins to unravel when a woman’s body is found buried in a bog. Crá starts Sunday 17 November on BBC iPlayer and BBC One Northern Ireland
Plus there’s new episodes of Scottish crime drama Shetland and Lioness dropping. I honestly can’t decide if I like DI Perez’ replacement, Detective Ruth Calder, in the role, or not! How about you? She is a terrific actress so maybe it’s her lines — too flippant for the Nordic noir genre? But the series is still superb. And Lioness is a must-see with its stellar cast and tension that you can cut with a knife.
