A haunting crime drama set in Wales, a cop drama on a Caribbean isle, and courtroom battles where the lawyer becomes the accused — there’s plenty to add to your watchlist.

Under Salt Marsh (Sky, 30 Jan.)
Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly is a former detective turned teacher who is pulled back into a devastating small-town murder as a once-in-a-generation storm threatens to wash away the evidence. Filmed in Wales and co-starring Sir Jonathan Pryce and Kimberly Nixon, the six-part bleak coastal noir leans heavily on atmosphere, grief and unresolved trauma.

Death in Paradise (BBC One, 30 Jan.)
Much sunnier — the much-loved Death in Paradise returns for its fifteenth series as DI Mervin Wilson, played by Don Gilet, and the team tackle a fresh run of baffling cases on the fictional island of Saint Marie, starting with a dramatic death at Selwyn’s offices. The new series features a cast shake-up, with Don Warrington returning as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson, Catherine Garton joining as Sergeant Mattie Fletcher, and exciting new guest stars including Siobhan Finneran and Vicki Fowler.

Vanished (MGM+ US, 1 Feb. / Prime Video UK, 27 Feb.)
In Vanished, Kaley Cuoco plays a woman whose partner, played by Sam Claflin, disappears during a train journey through France, exposing a dangerous double life. The series blends Hitchcockian suspense with sun-drenched European settings and escalating paranoia.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 (Netflix, 5 Feb. 2026)
Season four of The Lincoln Lawyer finds Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, accused of murdering a former client and forced to defend himself in court. Based on Michael Connelly’s The Law of Innocence, the new season raises the stakes with an all-at-once ten-episode drop. Neve Campbell returns, with new cast additions including Cobie Smulders and Constance Zimmer.
