Mid-February kicks off a new slate of crime dramas, including several buzzy streaming returns and a darkly comic mystery set in Ireland that’s getting rave reviews. Valentine’s weekend is for staying in and keeping cosy.

How To Get To Heaven from Belfast (Netflix, 12 Feb.)
Created by Lisa McGee, How To Get To Heaven from Belfast begins with the death of an old classmate that turns a wake into a frantic investigation, reuniting three lifelong friends on a chaotic journey across Ireland. The series stars RoĂsĂn Gallagher, Unforgotten’s SinĂ©ad Keenan and Caoilfhionn Dunne, blending dark comedy with mystery and emotional fallout.

Cross – Season 2 (Prime Video, 11 Feb. 2026)
Prime Video’s crime thriller Cross returns for a second season with Aldis Hodge back as Detective Alex Cross, facing a new serial killer who leaves gruesome clues behind. As Cross and FBI agent Kayla Craig investigate threats against a powerful billionaire, the case exposes a dangerous web of violence and influence.
56 Days (Prime Video, 18 Feb.)
Based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s novel, 56 Days charts the intense relationship between Ciara Wyse and Oliver Kennedy, played by Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia, which begins with a chance supermarket meeting and ends in murder. Fifty-six days after they first meet, police discover a body so badly decomposed it’s unrecognisable, forcing them to reconstruct the truth behind a fatal romance.

The Night Agent – Season 3 (Netflix, 19 Feb. 2026)
The Night Agent returns — picking up after the explosive events of Season 2, Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) is sent to track down a young Treasury agent who has fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss. As the investigation deepens, Peter and a relentless journalist uncover dark money networks and political secrets that threaten to destabilise the government. Rose Larkin won’t be returning but Fola Evans-Akingbola is back as Chelsea Arrington. And Lioness’s Genesis Rodriguez plays the role of journalist Isabel de Leon.

The Last Thing He Told Me – Season 2 (Apple TV+, 20 Feb. 2026)
Jennifer Garner reunites with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Angourie Rice in season two of The Last Thing He Told Me, adapted from Laura Dave’s sequel novel. When Owen resurfaces after five years on the run, Hannah and Bailey race to reunite their family before the past finally catches up with them.
