Crime-comedy is an increasingly popular genre — and we’ve got one this week you are going to love! Ludwig is streaming on BBCiPlayer — and is already a huge hit. Meanwhile, Season 2 of Ridley starring Line of Duty’s Adrian Dunbar has debuted in the US — and is coming soon to UK TV.
Shetland is back for its ninth season. Lerwick remains without beloved good guy DI Jimmy Perez (Douglas Henshall), who left for good a couple seasons ago. But female duo Ashley Jensen as DI Ruth Calder, and Alison O’Donnell as DS Alison McIntosh, team up once again, this time on an emotion investigation that blurs lines between personal and professional.
Lioness continues with another thrilling action-packed episode. I have a sense of doom as to how it’s all going to unfold as it’s going far too smoothly for Joe, Kaitlyn and the crew – despite a few minor hiccups. I am guessing we are in for a few surprises.
Shetland.
Tosh suspects something is seriously wrong when her friend, Annie Bett, and her son go missing. DI Calder investigates another case involving a tragic argument between two brothers.
